Head of Sales

WOW Recruitment is seeking a State Head of Banking, Insolvency & Finance to join our client in Sydney. In this role you’ll drive growth, lead operations, and elevate the performance of our clients Banking, Insolvency & Finance division. This role requires a seasoned leader with strong industry knowledge, strategic insight, and a track record of success in financial environments.

• Salary: 150k – 170k Super Uncapped Commissions
• Flexible working arrangements

• Must have a knowledge of financial markets, banking regulations, and risk management.

Your Responsibilities:

• Execute the strategic plan for the Banking, Insolvency & Finance division in alignment with company goals.
• Identify and develop new business within the banking, insolvency, and finance sectors, fostering relationships with key clients, regulators, and partners.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance, efficient processes, and excellent service delivery.
• Manage the state budget, track financial performance, and drive strategies to meet revenue goals.
• Proactively address risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Act as a senior advisor for major clients, delivering strategic insights and fostering strong client relationships.
• Represent the company at industry events, staying updated on trends and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

• 5 years in machinery/equipment or valuations focused on commercial/industrial assets.
• Deep knowledge of financial markets, banking regulations, and risk management.
• Established professional network within the state’s banking, insolvency, and finance sectors.
• Proven ability to drive new and repeat business, with experience in team management or leading national projects.
