Job description

A fast growing Facilities Management Service Provider is seeking a strong HSE leader to manage their compliance systems, ISO accreditations and team of HSE Advisors.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic professional who is comfortable being onsite when required – someone with presence, gravitas and excellent HSE knowledge, who is confident meeting with stakeholders and clients as well as training and supervising a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Liaising with Site Managers and Clients to ensure that HSEQ standards are continually met
  • Develop and maintain site specific safety initiatives & continuous improvement
  • Lead the safety culture on site through ongoing communication and consultation with the site management
  • Be the Lead investigator for incident investigations
  • Conduct scheduled site audits and risk assessments
  • Statistical reporting of HSE impacts collating data for reports
  • Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Program
  • Develop safety training

Skills and Experience for success:

  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Strong technical and administrative skills
  • 5 years in a similar management role
  • Remote site management experience
  • High level of communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Internal auditor experience
  • Training skills and experience
  • A genuine passion for HSE
