About the role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Mine Surveyor to develop the skills and experience needed for a future Mine Surveyor role within our mining operations.
The proposed start date will be dependent on qualifications being completed and will be from 1 July onwards.
This two-year fixed-term position is part of our structured graduate program, designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to key aspects of mine surveying.
Throughout the program, youll gain valuable on-the-job training in underground and surface surveying, spatial data management, and regulatory compliance, all while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Roster: 8/6 (Dayshift only)
Location: Peak Mine – Cobar NSW
Travel Options: Resident, DIDO or FIFO
- Resident Embrace our community with a balanced 5/2/4/3 roster and settle into our friendly Cobar township.
- Relocation Support we offer relocation support of up to $10,000 for those wanting to live locally in Cobar.
- DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site, you receive a travel allowance.
- FIFO from Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Qualifications and experience
- Completed or completing tertiary qualifications in Surveying (or equivalent) in or last 12 months.
- Willingness to develop proficiency in Mine Survey equipment.
- Exposure to Deswik for mine survey applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Actively contribute to teams throughout the graduate program.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated drive, conscientiousness, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Hold a current drivers licence.
