We are looking for an experienced Grade Control Driller to join our Mining Drill & Blast team at our WA operations. This will be on going, long-term project work.

This is a full-time position. FIFO from Perth. Roster is 2:1 (weeks) day shift & night shift.

The Role

The Grade Control Driller plays a crucial role in providing valuable data that informs decision-making processes and supports the successful exploration and extraction of minerals.

Ensuring drilling activities are conducted safely, according to established protocols, and contribute to the overall success of exploration or mining operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete drill holes to client standards with high QA
  • Perform minor mechanical repairs and assist with major repairs
  • Operate ancillary equipment like service trucks and LVs
  • Maintain and record wear rates of drilling consumables
  • Dip and collar drill holes to ensure correct depth

 The successful applicant will have:

  • C Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
  • Experience in RC Grade Control Drilling
  • Experience on Epiroc D65/ Sandvik DPI
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment

Desirable

  • Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence
  • Certification III Drilling Operations
  • First Aid Certificate
