General Labourers

Are you a reliable and physically fit labourer looking for ongoing, full-time hours with the potential to go permanent?

We are currently seeking General Labourers and Skilled Labourers with Forklift Licences (or willingness to obtain) to join a busy and well-established steel manufacturing operation in Pinkenba.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team with steady hours, overtime, and weekend work during peak periods.

What’s on offer:

• Immediate start with Monday to Friday hours
• Casual role with the opportunity to go permanent after 6 months (based on performance)
• Ongoing work with potential for overtime and weekend shifts
• Both day and afternoon shifts available

Shift Times:

• Day Shift: 5:00am – 1:00pm (plus overtime & weekends)
• Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm – 9:00pm (plus overtime & weekends)

Your duties will include:

• Forklift operation (if licensed)
• Manual handling of steel products
• Hand wiring and strapping
• Use of hand and power tools
• General labouring tasks

What you need to be successful:

• Current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Own PPE: long sleeve hi-vis shirt, long pants, steel cap lace-up boots
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25kg
• Able to perform repetitive manual tasks
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
