General Hands

Our client is one of Australias biggest poultry producers who excel in innovation, quality, and high standards. Leading the way in the industry they are looking for Multiple Farm Hands for their farms in the mid north of SA.


Currently we are requiring fit, energetic people to work in poultry farms in the mid north of South Australia. The work will require you to have fast hands and be standing on your feet majority of your shift.

Multiple casual opportunities exist within our farming operations across multiple locations. Whilst some experience is preferred, training is provided on site for the right individual(s).

Duties will include:

• Cleanout
• Bending and picking up chickens
• Egg collection and grading
• Floor walking
• Assisting with vaccinations, when required
• All other related duties, as needed

Essential:

• Must be currently residing in South Australia
• Enthusiasm for farm and animal work
• Strong safety focus and quarantine awareness
• Transport (an ability to get to and from site without issue) and driver licence
• Physically capable and able to perform manual labouring tasks for prolonged periods
• Possess a strong work ethic, resilience, flexibility and commitment
• Can take instruction
• Be able to work in team environment and independently

Pay rate starting from $ per hour plus penalty rates, OT opportunities, attendance bonus. commitment to provide you with 38 hours work per week for reliable workers.

Rosters Monday to Friday, but weekend work is also available on some sites.
