Join our team in Toowomba, QLD as a General Hand and play a key role in finishing and repairing, oilfield tubulars, Redback Drilling Tools and pressure control components to meet customer expectations. You’ll also support special projects as needed.
This role offers the opportunity to become a CNC Machinist.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Forklift driving.
- Painting and finishing of Redback Drilling Tools to meet internal and specific customer standards.
- Painting and finishing of manufactured products to meet internal and specific customer standards.
- Operation of saws in accordance with material requisition instructions.
- Assembly and packaging of redress kits.
- Stock control, reporting and assembly checklists.
- Deliveries and pick ups in the company vehicle(s).
- Chemical plating.
- Packaging and marking up of products for transport customer delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with our Quality Management System and corporate policies, including timekeeping.
- Communication and collaboration with our maintenance, yard, welding and quality teams to assure quality products are produced every time.
- Travel to our sites and provision of direct assistance as required.
- Assist in performing and closing out any investigations related to non conformance, defects or customer complaint.
- Must possess a current and valid drivers licence.
- Must possess a current and valid forklift licence.
- A minimum of two years satisfactory experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment is desirable.
- Some toolmaking experience is desirable.
- CNC Machinist experience is desirable
- Physical fitness appropriate to the role.
