Pay range: $33 – $36/Hour
Days: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (occasional weekend)
Hours: Guaranteed 30 hours, with standard hours of 40 hours/week

The Role:
- Alloy, Stainless and Steel Fabrication Welding Pneumatic install, and Diagnostic repair.
- General tank wagon transport repairs and maintenance including hose testing, pressure testing vessels, degassing and Gas Free certifications.
- Driving of customer HT & DG vehicles as per license will permit.
- Carryout service and maintenance checks and repairs on tank wagons
- Transfer of product as required – Tank wagon, ISO tanks, Marine Shipping Co.
- Transfer of contaminated product and clean up of spills from service stations, tank wagons or commercial sites.
- Meter calibrations and repairs.
- Pump and hydraulic system installations and repairs.
- May be required to work outside normal working hours and/or after hours at any time for tank wagon breakdown repairs, product recovery and emergency response callouts.
About You:
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Read and understand all drawings and specifications and query where not sure.
- Plan each job procedure and methods to ensure most efficient use of time and equipment.
- Carry out all fabrication and repair work to the highest level of quality and finish.
- Follow all Safety and OSH procedures at all times, and identify hazards as they occur. Assist / remind other staff to provide a safe workplace in the factory and on site.
- Report HSSE issues or hazards observed to Management.
- Ensure all work is completed on time and within hours allocated to job.
- Ensure all jobs on Mechanics Desk Tablets, time sheets and paperwork is completed correctly and on time.
- Ensure all site installation work is carried out efficiently and tidily.
- When in contact with clients or their staff / premises, ensure MFIs reputation is kept up by proper conduct, tidy work, polite manners, and professional work-wear and cleanliness. Contribute to the quality of work produced by all other workers.
- Work in with other staff to form a happy positive and co-operative workplace team.
- Housekeeping & Security are maintained at a high level
- Carry out faithfully all reasonable and lawful instructions from supervisors.
Benefits:
- Paid Annual Leave: 4 weeks.
- Overtime Pay: Time and a half after the first 8 hours worked in any one day, for a period of 3 hours.
- Double Time Pay: Double time will be paid for hours worked beyond the overtime period.
- Saturday Pay: The first 4 hours will be paid at time and a half, with double time paid for any additional hours.
