GenAI Software Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking an Engineer to support a financial services client in developing a business case for a Generative AI (GenAI) proof of concept. The role starts with a 6 month contract, with the opportunity to extend upon successful approval.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Data and/or Software and a strong understanding of how to integrate GenAI models and tools into scalable applications. The role will involve working closely with cross functional teams to design, develop and deploy AI powered features that enhance the testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the creation and deployment of a GenAI proof of concept to demonstrate immediate value in testing processes.
Validate key hypotheses related to testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Leverage GenAI models to create innovative features that improve user experiences and product capabilities
Integrate customer-trained GenAI models into development workflows

Required Experience:

Strong background in full-stack development with experience in integrating and optimizing generative AI technologies.
Familiarity with GenAI tools and models, including experience with APIs from providers like OpenAI or similar
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with data engineering workflows and tools
Contributes to open source GenAI projects or communities
