About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated staff experienced in a Caf and or food services to bring joy to our residents, their families and friends. As a Caf / Food Services Assistant your focus will be to deliver catering needs, special requirements and food preferences.
Candidates should be available to work during the day, Monday to Friday for this position.
Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be:
- Serving residents, families and their friends
- Prepare, present and serve food and refreshments, ensuring awareness of special needs for dietary requirements
- Plate and present food in an appealing manner and to a high-quality visual standard according to individual requirements
Requirements
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Great communication, organisation and time management skills
- Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards the completion of a Food Safety Certificate
- Previous experience working in a caf, food services environment and/or at an aged care facility
- Patience; common sense and a strong ethos of client service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team and to work with minimum supervision
