Ready to elevate your machining career? At WesTrac, we dont just repair machineswe keep Australia moving. As a First-Class Machinist in our Hydraulics team, youll work on some of the most powerful Cat equipment in the world, ensuring peak performance for industries that drive our future.
Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off rotating days & nights (10.5-hour shifts)
Location: South Guildford, Perth, WA
What Youll Do
- Work with state-of-the-art hydraulic systems and precision components.
- Operate manual horizontal borers, lathes, and polishing lathes to deliver world-class results.
- Be part of a team that values safety, precision, and innovationevery job matters.
- Enjoy a roster that gives you plenty of time off to recharge.
- Machine hydraulic cylinder components with accuracy and pride.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce work that meets tight tolerances.
- Use advanced safety tools like Job Safety Analysis and Take 5sbecause your safety is our priority.
What Were Looking For
- Trade-qualified First-Class Machinist or Fitter Machinist (Australian recognised).
- Skilled in operating horizontal boring machines and precision measuring tools.
- Strong time management and basic computer skills.
- Forklift, rigging, and dogging licenses? Thats a bonus!
