About the role
We are currently seeking a Finance Services Officer to join our Brisbane or Sydney office. This role proactively supports the Finance Services function by performing accounts tasks, reporting & analysis as required and deliver internal/external services to ensure compliance with all company policies, internal controls, and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Asist with project bank account management, bank receipting & reconciliation, time management & reporting as well as:
- Internal/external audit requests and other accounting tasks as assigned within advised deadlines.
- Assist team members and employees with investigations and queries related to the assigned function.
- Support in reviewing aging in-progress items pending resolution by team member and resolving aging balance sheet line items.
- Support the delivery of other tasks or projects, as directed.
About you
- Preferably has background in financial accounting with diploma or degree in finance or another related field.
- 1-2 years experience in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel & expense accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, master data management, with basic understanding of accounting and finance processes, systems, and controls.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Ideally have worked in medium – large finance functions or a shared services environment.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
