The Finance Business Partner will partner and provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects across a variety of business units within the Qantas Group. With a commercial leadership focus, this role will ensure the appropriate structures, initiatives and processes are in place to meet project requirements as well as assist management in opportunity development and strategy.
This role will provide a unique opportunity to support Finance projects across the Qantas Group on an ‘as needed’ basis, resulting in exposure to a variety of business units, stakeholder groups and projects.
You’ll have –
- 5 years’ experience in a similar finance business partnering capacity
- Professional accounting or finance qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver clear financial analysis and advice to management and non-finance teams
- Process improvement focus
- Commercial orientation with an ability to manage customer expectations
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management both verbally and in writing
- Highly motivated self-starter, with an ability to work under time pressure with limited supervision
- Strong PC skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
- An ability to develop networks outside the Finance Community
