Finance Administration Officer

Golding are seeking a Finance Administration Officer to join our team based in our Milton office.

Working closely with the wider Finance Team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for a range of financial and administrative tasks.

This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8am5pm) within a sociable and collaborative Finance Team that will provide the guidance and support necessary for your success.

Flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home, are also available.

Key Responsibilities:
Cash & Banking

  • Complete daily and weekly bank reconciliations
  • Maintain and update the payment tracker
  • Administer Project Trust and Project Trust Retention accounts
  • Manage corporate credit card applications and cancellations

Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare accurate and timely invoices with appropriate supporting evidence
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments with Project Managers and clients
  • Maintain the receipts tracker
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of Accounts Receivable balances to ensure completeness and accuracy

Other Responsibilities

  • Support Project Administrators with labour confirmation uploads to SAP
  • Provide backup and support across Finance Admin tasks, including:
    • Employee expense management and reimbursements
    • Surety bond and bank guarantee applications
    • Monthly prepayments

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Certificate IV/Diploma of Accounting will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in an entry-level finance role (e.g. Accounts Payable, Purchasing, or Credit Control) preferred
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • SAP (or similar ERP) experience highly regarded
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with sound spreadsheet understanding
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills across all levels
  • Proactive attitude and adaptable approach to work
