Service Stream’s Fixed Communications division are currently seeking a Field Supervisor to join our field services team. Reporting directly to the Field Services Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Field Services Manager in the day-to-day operations activities and contractor management functions within the NBN Service Excellence contract.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time 

Location: Regency Park, SA

Reporting Line: Field Service Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, supervise and coordinate the activities of field staff and sub-contractors
• Ensure all field work is of a high quality consistent with relevant OH&S policies and procedures
• Coordinate and assist in the training of all staff and sub-contractors
• Liaise with the client and its customers to appropriately manage the client’s network and plant
• Liaise with and make all arrangements with public authorities for provision of services to the network and working in public areas
• Arrange reports to management and the customer on the status of work
• Undertake scheduling of work, staff and equipment to ensure production targets are met
• Ensure all field work is of a high quality consistent with relevant OH&S policies and procedures

Skills and Experience

• Relevant technical qualifications, Cert III in Telecommunications
• Experience within Telecommunications industry to include FTTP, FTTN, FTTC and/or HFC.
• ACMA open cabling license is mandatory
• Previous experience meeting targets/budgets
• Flexible approach and well-developed contract management skills
• NBN enable accepted accreditation qualifications
