About the Role: Laboratory Soil / Rock Technician
Due to internal movements and growth, we’re looking for additional staff.
As a permanent member of our laboratory operations team, you’ll conduct specialised soil & or rock testing procedures, work with tools and machinery and carry out lifting and manual handling. The role requires lifting up to 20kg on a regular basis.
Trainees earn approximately $26 per hour (permanent), with lower rates for those under 21. If you hold a Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques, the rate increases to $ per hour. For experienced CMT Technicians, rates are competitive and negotiable based on skills and experience.

- Use of Tools, machinery and computers – You’ll get your hands dirty!
- Conducting daily soil / rock testing procedures, adhering to industry soil standards
- Generate comprehensive client test reports
- Support the setup and maintenance of equipment essential for soil testing
- Exceptional organisational skills coupled with problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.
- A customer-centric approach with a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding client needs.
- Liaise with clients when required
About You:

- Certification such as Certificate III in Laboratory Skills (or equivalent), highly regarded
