We are seeking a talented Executive Assistant with outstanding communication skills, to deploy a full suite of executive support services to the Dean of The University of Sydney Business School. As the first point of contact representing the Dean, your exceptional organisational skills and client-focused approach will be essential in managing workflow and achieving timely resolution of queries and complex matters. Utilising your strong relationship management skills, you will effectively collaborate with internal teams across the university and industry to achieve excellence.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- provide broad, high level professional executive support including diary, travel and expenses management to the Dean
- effectively manage the general day to day administration activity of the Business School’s leadership team
- provide support within meetings such as setting agendas and minute taking
- build and manage effective working rapport with key stakeholders and staff across the University
- ensure the quality application of, and compliance with, University administration policies and procedures
About you
- professional working experience as an executive assistant within a fast-paced and dynamic working environment with an understanding of governance
- proven capability in core EA duties such as diary management, travel management and coordination of daily tasks and functions on behalf of a senior executive professional
- strong communication skills with the ability to operate with a high degree of tact and professionalism across all levels of diverse internal and external environments
- a proactive and solutions-oriented work ethic as you will be assisting with ad-hoc projects and ongoing activities such as scams management
- initiative and understanding of stakeholder priority, to ensure a customer and client centric approach
- flexibility in their organisation and planning skills in order to balance competing agendas and demands in a fast paced, time pressured environment.
