About the Role
Laing O’Rourke are currently seeking an Enterprise Applications Manager to join our dynamic team in Brisbane. The purpose of this role is to manage the end-to-end application lifecycle management of enterprise applications and working in partnership with Business Application Owners throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- In partnership with business application owners, develop application lifecycle plans for business-critical applications, including (but not limited to) Planning and Requirements, Development, Software Configuration Management, Testing, Development, Operations and Maintenance, Documentation/Knowledge Management.
- Identify opportunities to further leverage application functionality to solve business problems/further business capability
- Manage the budget for enterprise applications, licencing, support and services
- Develop and document new processes in reaction to application evolution
- Measure the performance of your teams to enable the creation and evaluation of continual improvement initiatives
- Lead and inspire a team of technology professionals
About You
- 5 years experience in Application Management and Support in a large company
- A track record of taking ownership of enterprise ERP and core line-of-business applications
- Proven experience of managing staff through significant organisational, structural and technology change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively tailor communication of technical issues to various audiences
- Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate teams
- Team player, experience of breaking down silos and creating shared visions
- Experience working in a highly secure environment, ensuring application lifecycle management activities are performed with a secure by design mindset
