Enrolled Nurse – Transition to Practice (526043)

The Role:

The Enrolled Nurse – Transition to Practice is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of safe, clinically appropriate nursing care in collaboration with patients/clients, their families and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve goals and health outcomes, at all times working under the delegation and supervision of a registered nurse.

Transition to Practice is professional program that supports newly qualified nurses in entering first employment as an enrolled nurse within a developmental and supervision framework.

To be considered for this position you should meet the following requirements:

  • Be registered with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse by the advertised commencement date
  • Have less than six months experience (since date of initial registration) as an Enrolled Nurse

For the first half of we will be offering two commencement dates being: January 20th, , and March 17th, .

Details of appointment:

Multiple permanent, full time or part time, fully rotational shift work positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from January 20th, .

Positions will be available across Hospitals South which may include acute care, sub-acute care, community care and in-patient rural facilities 

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $68,913 – $75,902 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement

Allowance 

Youll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: 

  • Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum
  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse
  • Current Drivers Licence (Community Nurse positions only)
