Pay Rate: $ per hour (Flat Rate)

Engineering Trades Australia are currently seeking experienced High Voltage Electricians for an exciting opportunity supporting a leading mining operation in the Singleton region and Rutherford workshop. This is a temp-to-perm position offering long-term career stability, excellent earning potential, and a desirable lifestyle roster.
Working on a fleet of heavy mining equipment, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-voltage electrical systems, with a strong focus on dump trucks and mobile plant equipment.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on heavy mining equipment
• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on HV systems
• Conduct inspections, testing, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with site safety requirements
• Work collaboratively within a maintenance team to achieve production targets

Essential Requirements

• Electrical Trade Qualification
• High Voltage Qualification and/or proven HV experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience within mining, heavy industrial, mobile plant, or OEM workshop environments
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and site requirements

Desirable Tickets & Qualifications

• Confined Space Entry (CSE)
• Working at Heights (WAH)
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Order 43 Medical (or willingness to obtain if required)
