In this role, you will be working for our Infrastructure Services business which forms part of the CV group.

The team specialises in electrical infrastructure works and provides a comprehensive range of design, supply and construction services. Our projects include major road and rail infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects, urban developments and subdivisions, and airports and airfields.

We have over 200 team members with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for our wide range of clients.

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our Infrastructure Services team based at Hendra.

As an Electrician you will be responsible for:

• Utilising technical knowledge, skills and capabilities to interpret specifications, drawing and manuals.
• Undertaking problem solving and job specific reporting in accordance with requirements.
• Committing to all facets of on the job compliance including code and OH&S.
• Demonstrating the ability to think laterally and plan jobs ensuring all equipment and resources are available.
• Effectively communicating with clients, suppliers and team members.

About You
Are you the person CV needs? If you can answer yes to the points below, you just might be!

• Current unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers Licence
• Current manual drivers licence
• Proven experience with the Energex/Ergon network
• Proven experience/knowledge of TMR
• Experience with high-voltage infrastructure (private or network) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with substations, large customer connections etc is desirable.
• Knowledge of overhead and underground reticulation is desirable.
• Understanding of or experience with switching low-voltage networks is valued
• Demonstrated reliability, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to code compliance and WHS requirements
• An effective communicator who can work independently or as part of a team.
• Happy to take instruction and open to learning new techniques.
