Fetch have partnered with a well-established D&C electrical contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Melbourne. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to bring on an Electrical Project Engineer to support project delivery teams across multiple live sites.
This role is ideal for someone currently working as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or experienced Supervisor with an understanding of design and procurement. Working closely with Project Managers and Site Teams, you’ll play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly from procurement through to delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with day-to-day project delivery across infrastructure projects in the rail, water, renewable and industrial spaces
- Procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractors
- Programme updates and progress tracking
- Coordinating with site teams, design teams and suppliers
- Managing RFIs, variations, ITPs and project documentation
- Supporting cost control, forecasting and reporting
- Ensuring quality, safety and compliance standards are met
- Solving problems on-site when needed
Requirements
- Trade or technical background in Electrical (preferred)
- Experience working for an electrical contractor in a project coordination or engineering capacity
- Exposure to infrastructure projects (rail, roads, utilities, substations, renewables or similar)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced D&C environment
