Electrical Design Engineer

Stellar Recruitment has partnered with an independent renewable energy consultancy that focuses on providing technical and financial advice on clean power generation for commercial, industrial and utility sectors. Due to growth our client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with 3-5 years New Zealand experience to join the team on a permanent basis. Our client has one of the top-tier client lists in New Zealand.
Solar experience would be advantageous
Key responsibilities include:

• Communicating with clients to understand their renewables engineering requirements
• Conducting in-depth research on various technical processes.
• Following the steps of our project methodology and typical scope of work
• Providing clients with various technical solutions and advising them on the same
• Developing and overseeing the implementation of technical solutions
• Identifying and troubleshooting any technical faults and errors
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
• Managing project timelines.
• Planning and designing new engineering projects
• Creating 3D models and CAD drawings.

To be successful you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Be a CPENG NZ registered electrical engineer
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
