Resourceful Recruitment has partnered with a leading entity within the Energy sector committed to pioneering advancements in energy solutions. Based in Brisbane, they are currently seeking an experienced E&I Completions Supervisor to join the Completions and Commissioning team on a major capital project.
About the Role
Reporting to the Completions Lead, the E&I Completions Supervisor is responsible for supervising and driving the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) scope through Mechanical Completion and into Commissioning Readiness. The role ensures E&I systems and subsystems are completed safely, to specification, and in line with project quality, schedule, and turnover requirements, while providing site-based leadership across construction, quality, engineering, and commissioning interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Completions Lead in progressing E&I systems and subsystems toward Mechanical Completion and Commissioning Readiness.
- Supervise and manage E&I completions activities, ensuring works are completed safely, to specification, and aligned with the approved completions schedule.
- Review, manage, and verify E&I completion dossiers, drawings, redlines, and test documentation through targeted field and desktop audits.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of E&I completions data into the Completions & Commissioning Management System (CCMS), maintaining data integrity and traceability.
- Coordinate the close-out of E&I punch list items, ITRs, test records, and certifications in collaboration with Construction, Quality, and Completions teams.
- Lead and support E&I system and subsystem walkdowns, verification activities, and punch identification.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams to resolve technical, construction, and interface issues impacting completions progress.
- Support commissioning teams by ensuring E&I subsystems are fully tested, energisation-ready, and compliant for system turnover.
- Provide discipline-level progress updates, constraint reporting, and recovery actions to the Completions Lead.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Electrical / Instrument Trade or University Qualification (essential)
- Hands-on experience with completions management systems such as CCMS, including E&I subsystem definition, certification, data validation, and system turnover
- Proven ability to manage the full E&I punch list lifecycle from walkdowns through to commissioning readiness
- Strong coordination skills across Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, and Commissioning teams to resolve E&I technical and execution constraints
- Solid understanding of E&I testing, inspection, documentation, and energisation readiness requirements
- Experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders across client and EPC boundaries
- Desirable: client-side / owner’s team experience, brownfield and/or greenfield project execution with complex E&I subsystem integration and live tie-ins
