Are you passionate about working with children? St Joseph’s Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is looking for both qualified and unqualified educators to join our friendly, dynamic team on a casual basis.
This role is perfect for university students studying education, nursing, or related fields who want to gain valuable experience while making a difference in the lives of children.
Our OSHC service is nestled on the beautiful grounds of St Joseph’s Primary School in Bardon. With strong ties to the local parish and school, we provide a supportive and welcoming environment where children thrive.
At St Joseph’s Outside School Hours Care, we provide both before and after school care for up to 59 children.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator
- Providing nurturing care for children
- Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
- Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Opportunity to attend fun excursions during vacation care

Job Requirements:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or ACECQA equivalent) or working towards would be desirable.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based
- Knowledge of national quality framework, My Time Our Place is desirable.
