About the Role
Our client is a well-established custom home builder with a strong reputation across Sydney delivering high-quality, design-driven residential projects. With a growing pipeline of over 150 homes currently underway, they are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join their collaborative pre-construction team.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed construction drawings and documentation for a diverse range of projects, including bespoke custom homes, knockdown rebuilds, dual occupancies, and house & land packages. You’ll work closely with designers, estimators, and the construction team to ensure all plans are accurate, compliant, and ready for approvals and build commencement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality construction drawings and documentation using ArchiCAD
• Amend plans and specifications in line with client selections, design changes, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with the design and pre-construction teams to ensure documentation aligns with build and compliance standards
• Manage plan revisions and updates efficiently to support smooth project progression
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company design standards, council, and NCC regulations

About You:

• 3 years’ experience as a Draftsperson within the residential construction industry
• Proficient in ArchiCAD is favorable though any drafting software experience will be applicable
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, BASIX, and NSW planning regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
