The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, SEE Group have an exciting opportunity available for a qualified Diesel Fitter to join our highly professional and skilled Plant and Logistics Team. This is a diverse and fast-paced role with a variety of work scope. This is a full-time local position which will see you performing field service repairs and maintenance on our extensive range of plant and equipment across our Civil Construction Projects located at our Yatala Workshop.
Responsibilities will include;
- Repair, servicing and maintenance of earthmoving plant, equipment, and light vehicles.
- Implement and adhere to asset maintenance scheduling.
- Travel between project sites and perform work in a field environment.
- Carry out lockout and tag-out systems in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy.
- Provide technical expertise to project teams and provide basic service training to plant operators where required.
- Essential Skills and Attributes
- Background in Heavy Plant, Mechanical and Electrical processes.
- Clear understanding of excellence in customer service.
- Proven management skills, practices, and planning ability.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.
- Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating, and administering contracts.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
