Delivery Driver Storeperson

This Role is primarily warehouse duties as a Storeperson and may require you to hop out on a truck from time to time so a Truck license is essential!

When on the truck youll be getting in and out more often then not to visit our customers and deliver our exceptional service in a timely manner,

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake all duties in a safe responsible and courteous manner
  • Plan, pick and cross check orders
  • Hand un-load food products (including chilled and frozen products) to customers, this may include handling cash
  • Practice safe and correct manual handling
  • Operate a Truck and Deliver products to customers as per required by the branch
  • Ensure all invoices are signed and correctly present paperwork as per company procedures

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications

  • HR truck licence
  • Forklift licence (advantageous)
  • Must have refrigerated food and multi drop experience
  • Understand OH&S and food safety program (HACCP) and in particular the “cold chain” process
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Customer focused and good at building interpersonal relationships
  • Highly motivated, flexible with a solid work ethic and positive attitude
  • Physically fit with the ability to load and unload truck (couple of tonne a day) within safety guidelines
