You have a proven track record in a dealership Service Advisor capacity, working as part of a team in a high-volume environment, and you have strong attention to detail.
About the role:
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Working within Patterson Cheney policies, guidelines and standards
- Scheduling customer service repair orders, obtaining a clear brief from the customer as to any issues
- Preparing invoices and closing allocated repairs
- Be transparent and honest with the customer with estimated completion times and provide updates as required
- Ensuring the customers’ expectations are exceeded throughout the experience
- Providing support to other service advisors
- Assisting Workshop Manager in resolving any customer-related concerns
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Must have previous dealership experience in a similar role
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Sound organisational skills and time management
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach staff
- Ability to neutralise conflict
- Strong focus on creating customer experiences
