Nathan River Resources is the proud owner and operator of the Roper Bar Iron Ore Mine, located 50km inland from the Gulf of Carpentaria and approximately 760km from Darwin. Our fully integrated operation includes an in-house mine, a dedicated fleet of road trains transporting product along a 170km private haul road, and a marine and trans-shipment division managing a fleet of mine and marine assets.

Following the success of our initial operational kick-off in 2023, we are excited to move into Phase 2 of our expansion, which includes the arrival of a new Moxy fleet in April. As we continue to grow, we are seeking additional crew members to join our team and support our expanding operations.

We are seeking the following positions: 

Moxy Operators
All round Operators D8/D/6 Cat Dozer – Must have 
14m Cat Grader – Must have  
980 Cat Wheel Loader 

FIFO Roster Ex Darwin is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.

 Desirable for this position:

RII Surface extractions or VOC of equipment 
Minimum 12 months previous open pit mining experience Essential  
Clear understanding of mining safety procedures and Policies
Understand this opportunity is to be part of a key team with responsibilities encompassing a startup operation (challenges and rewards) 
Capacity to meet shift work requirements.
