The Lucas Group has partnered with an established corporate farm located at Kojonup in WA. You’ll be joining a strong team on a -hectare diversified cropping (wheat, barley, canola, legumes) and livestock grazing operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Cropping Overseer, you will be an important part of the day-to-day cropping operations. You with be responsible for:

Working with Farm Manager and Agronomist to design cropping plan
Overseer and implement the day to day management of cropping program
Machinery operation and maintenance
Crop monitoring and record-keeping
Supervising farm hands, machinery operators and seasonal casual staff

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has proven experience in broadacre cropping operations
Safe and efficient use of modern cropping machinery
Agronomic knowledge to be able to monitor crops
Can utilise all the latest farming tools and technologies
Have a Forklift, Drivers, and Heavy Combination licenses
Knows a thing or two about safety and can handle chemicals safely
Can easily use the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
