The Role
As a Counsellor you will
- Deliver culturally responsive counselling and treatment for Men in the local community
- Support clients experiencing trauma, grief, family violence, and substance abuse.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans and integrate specialist outreach services.
- Build strong networks with community stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Counselling, or related discipline.
- Current AHPRA registration or equivalent practicing certificate.
- Understanding of Aboriginal cultures, values, and protocols with experience in culturally responsive care.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to travel to remote communities and engage in community outreach.
