We have an enticing Condition Monitoring Technician residential position awaiting you at the world class Kanowna Belle that boasts a 10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 5/2, 4/3 (10hr day shift) roster.
Heres what awaits you:
- Execute lubrication and CM work in accordance with the schedule, scope, quality standards and within agreed timeframes. Record relevant job information during execution to later capture in Pronto. Escalate critical issues to the maintenance supervisor in a timely manner. Ensure housekeeping of the lubrication shed is to a high standard ensuring dust, dirt and rubbish is removed daily and disposed of in the correct manner.
- Raise new Work Requests for new or additional work ensuring all lubrication related issues are captured. Complete actual work hours (Time Confirmations) against Work Orders. Enter Work History notes for completed work and close the Work Order
- Return physical documents (Work Orders, inspection sheets, service sheets etc.) to the Maintenance Supervisor for record keeping. Order parts and materials (add Components) for new Priority 1 and 2 Work Orders as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Review condition monitor reports provided by external service providers including oil analysis, vibration analysis and system produced data. Capture all actions from reports and ensure work orders are raised accordingly to rectify any defects.
- Ensure all lubrication/hygiene improvement opportunities are identified and actioned for all assets in the processing plant.
- Ensure compliance with the Work Health & Safety Act and the Work Health and Safety (Mines)Regulations via a risk-based approach to all work activities.
- Demonstrate a pro-active approach to safety in line with Northern Star standards. Proactive in approach to environmental concerns and display a clear commitment to responsible environmental management and prioritise safety in all tasks and activities
To thrive in this role, youll need:
Experience: Experience in the mining industry in a condition monitoring role or similar, 2 years minimum and good communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to improved Asset Management procedures and practices as required.
Qualifications: Relevant experience in the condition monitoring of Fixed Plant equipment and Current C class Western Australian Drivers Licence. An understanding of lubrication and CM related data.
