About our client

We’re working with well-established civil contractors delivering large-scale concrete works, infrastructure upgrades and commercial developments throughout Townsville and North Queensland.

These roles offer secure, ongoing employment for skilled Concreters and Labourers who take pride in quality workmanship, teamwork and safety.

You’ll be involved in a variety of concrete-focused projects including pavements, footpaths, slabs, kerb and channel, drainage structures and general civil works.

What you’ll do

Depending on your experience, duties may include:

• Placing, finishing and screeding concrete

• Assisting with formwork, steel fixing and preparation works

• Kerb and channel installation

• Operating hand tools, small plant and machinery

• General labouring duties to support concreting crews

• Working safely as part of a high-performing team to meet project deadlines

What you’ll need

Experience in concreting, civil construction or related trades

White Card (mandatory)

Relevant RII or trade qualifications (highly regarded)

Driver’s licence and reliable transport

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

Additional plant tickets (e.g. Bobcat, Roller, Moxy, Excavator) are an advantage
