About the role
The Concrete Operations Coordinator is a vital support role for the Plant Manager, responsible for managing all aspects of concrete production, including batching, testing, loader driver and dispatching.
As an important member of the team, key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintaining product quality through rigorous testing, performing preventative maintenance and servicing equipment
- Overseeing health, safety, and environmental practices.
About you
- You enjoy fast paced, busy environments
- Full training will be provided, however exposure to concrete & batching would be preferred
- Have excellent communication skills (both written & verbal)
- Be confident operating a computer with experience in MS Office or Google docs, full training will be provided on additional software used in the role
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibilities
- Forklift license is a nice to have.
Working hours
- Great opportunity to earn overtime working alternate Saturdays
- Generally, shifts run from around Midnight to 9am or 3am – 12pm.
Additionally, you must hold full NZ work rights with no restrictions on hours worked or duration of employment. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Holiday or Student visas.
