What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Intermodal Business Unit is seeking a Compliance Manager to join their team. This position will be based in either Sydney NSW (Chullora) or West Melbourne VIC. Within the role, you will be essential in partnering with our operational sites across NSW & VIC, working closely to maintain and ensure that compliance standards are being met within our operations. This role will also involve travel from time to time, as required, to support the Intermodal Business and to assist with risk management, team communications, training, consultation, audits and incident investigations. Key areas:

  • To ensure all Intermodal sites in NSW/VIC operate in compliance with NHVR & HVNL standards inclusive of NHVAS Maintenance, NHVAS Mass and NHVAS Fatigue (BFM) in addition to all Chain of Responsibility requirements.
  • Assist sites in developing training plans to meet training compliance requirements
  • Work closely with state subcontractor managers to ensure subcontractors meet all Linfox compliance requirements
  • To liaise with Internal Departments and sites to ensure updated compliance programs are relevant and accurate.
  • Ensuring All sites induct and provide applicable training for all drivers, company, casual and subcontractors

Are you the one?

  • 5 years of industry experience within similar roles
  • Certificate in Administering a Fatigue Risk Management System, TLIF or equivalent
  • Certification in Auditing, HACCP principles and implementation or willingness to undertake
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, Word and Excel
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law, NHVR & CoR
  • Ability to coach and influence leadership to set and enforce safety standards and targets
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
