Are you an experienced Commercial Estimator seeking your next opportunity?
Primary objectives of the position:
- To work with David Payne to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the work area for which you are responsible.
- Read and Interpret plans.
- Carry out tender send-outs.
- Produce material take offs.
- Liaise and depict subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Completion of tender schedules and supporting documents.
- Liaise with Supervisors and other departments on relevant job orders and cost issues.
- Communicate with suppliers in relation to material orders.
Essential requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial estimation.
- A good understanding of building practices and procedures.
- A desire to work in a tight knit team environment and support others.
- Be able to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Have the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Have strong numerical background.
- Driver’s License
- White Card
- Tertiary degree relevant to the position
