Are you a CNC Machine Setter looking to play a vital role in the setup and manufacture of precision CNC machined parts?
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the first-offs meet the required specifications, and you maintain effective use of CNC machinery as well as:
- Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
- Set up and manufacture parts, ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards.
- Monitor CNC Machine Operators to guarantee compliance with operational instructions.
- Produce high-quality parts that meet stringent quality standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings/diagrams and utilise calibrated measuring equipment appropriately.
Skills and experience required
- Trade Certified Machinist or currently pursuing accredited training to obtain a Trade Certificate (preferred).
- Proficient in recognising and using calibrated measuring equipment.
- Experience in CNC machinery operation.
- Knowledge of the Defence Industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with Quality Standards and Requirements.
- Proven ability to train and mentor others.
