Job Description

At Green Leaves Early Learning Centres, we take pride in building innovative and sustainable learning environments and practices in our state-of-the-art centres.

We’re excited to announce that our Maida Vale service will be our 10th location in Perth! Conveniently situated on Kalumunder Rd in High Wycombe, just east of the Perth CBD, this purpose-built centre will accommodate 94 children and is set to open in early . 

We are looking for an experienced Centre Director to commence in January .

Our offering is unique, and for us, it all comes down to the little things. Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, the Centre Director is key to building a team that will embrace our wonderful Green Leaves Commitments, in delivering excellence in day-to-day practice.

About the Role

  • Be empowered to run an efficient and smooth operation
  • Put children and parents first where we take the time to greet everyone and ensure they have the best possible experience with Green Leaves via high-quality tours and orientations
  • Recruit, motivate and inspire a team of passionate educators to best practice
  • Oversee and guide the highest quality of classroom curriculum and pedagogical documentation
  • Ensure immaculate Centre presentation within the internal and external play spaces
  • Understand and interpret the relevant industry regulations and legislation, including the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Build and engage with local communities, creating strong ties and relationships with the community and surrounding networks.

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills:

  • At least Diploma qualified, ideally Advanced Diploma or Bachelor qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Senior First Aid and CPR qualification
  • Hold a current and recognized Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
  • Relevant State working with children check, blue card, or safety screening
  • PRODA.

Desirable:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience with Qikkids, Timetarget, and Educa (or similar equivalent platforms)
  • Intermediate-level experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
