Care Services Worker – Home Care – Belrose County Club

The position

Join our diverse Home Care team as a Care Services Worker and embrace an exciting opportunity working at our Belrose County Club retirement village. 

This casual position plays a pivotal role, prioritising the well-being of our residents above all else. 

We are seeking a motivated, self-directed and independent person with a passion for Home Care to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, as well as embrace the chance to be a source of support and comfort for our residents.

Reporting to the Manger – Home Care, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and assisting Home Care recipients with activities of daily living, including mobility continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming, medication prompting Ensuring residents receive their prescribed medications promptly and accurately
  • Collaborating in the preparation, service, and delivery of daily meals and special functions for our cherished residents
  • Managing laundry tasks for residents as required, maintaining their comfort and hygiene
  • Providing high quality cleaning services in residential areas
  • Provision of domestic and laundry services to care recipients
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service
  • Where required, assisting with meal preparation
  • Transporting care recipients to appointments (e.g. medical)
  • Social Support and Shopping assistance
  • Reporting and recording any maintenance issues in both residential apartments and common areas
  • Maintaining privacy and confidentiality
  • Assisting within other areas as required

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • Experience in working within the retirement industry an advantage
  • Demonstrated similar domestic or commercial cleaning skills and experience
  • Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable Transport
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
