About the role

Join our team as a care companion where resident engagement is at the heart of what we do. We seek individuals who are not only emotionally intelligent but also fun-loving and kind, creating a warm and supportive environment for our residents. Casual staff play a vital role, expected to commit to at least 2 shifts weekly, potentially including night duties to ensure round-the-clock care.

Continuous learning is key in our facility. We value well-educated staff with up-to-date skills, emphasizing completion of online modules to maintain compliance throughout employment. As permanent shifts arise, our casual pool receives priority for conversion opportunities, offering a pathway for growth within our organization. About you

Your confidence in your ability to provide exceptional care to our residents will enable you to create a positive and welcoming environment for your team and residents. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal relationship building skills, supportive nature, and a passion for the aged care industry.

The following experience and qualifications will see you to success in this role:

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care (desirable)
  • Effective organisation and time management skills
  • Able to work on your own but also as part of a bigger team.
  • Understanding of your own safety and others in the workplace
  • Evidence of current influenza and COVID vaccinations
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months)
