About the role…
Join our team as a full-time Administrative Assistant at our Geebung Laboratory! Work in a dynamic, hands-on construction environment, supporting our team and keeping operations running smoothly.

You’ll be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills, able to multitask and liaise effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, at our Geebung branch. Full-time hours preferred yet could consider 4 days per week for a superstar!

Duties…

  • Reception duties, answering phones and greeting clients
  • Customer Communications
  • Processing EFTPOS payments. *Accounts Payable / Receivable assistance.
  • Use of Microsoft Products – Word, Excel, Email
  • Maintaining the facilities Stationery and PPE equipment resources
  • Completing audits to maintain the facilities compliance to external accredited bodies
  • Work in a fast paced environment
  • Use of Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Process and maintain laboratory documentation
  • Administrative Support

 About you…


We’re looking for a motivated candidate who thrives in a hands-on, blue-collar construction environment. While an administrative background is preferred, experience in other fields (e.g., retail) is also valued. Desired skills include:

  • Meticulous attention to detail, pivotal for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Quick data entry capabilities, typing at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational aptitude, adept at prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative teamwork skills, working closely with area administrators, lab staff, and managers.
  • Effective time management skills
  • Australian / Citizen or Permanent Resident and residing in Australia
