Business Process Analyst

Our team is growing and we are currently seeking a suitably qualified individual for a Business Process Analyst role at our key banking client’s office in the Melbourne CBD, on a Full Time, 6 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Business Analytics and Performance Manager, the Business Process Analyst’s main role is to document, review and update Business Processes to support efficient day to day operations, and visibility of inefficiencies for optimization ensure the provision and maintenance of the highest possible standard of services. They will be responsible for the day-to-day management of business process tasks for the client account for which they are nominated, maintaining standards which meet or exceed the expectations of the financial sector.

The Position:

  • Mitigate risk to business for improvement objectives for users, by ensuring business process is mapped, easily understood and reviewed regularly
  • Ensure tasks are completed within timeframes
  • Managing Business Process backlog

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Finance, Accounting or Commerce) or other relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with MS Visio/Lucid Chart or similar mapping tools
  • Proven experience in business process management
  • Demonstrated ability managing stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and self-motivated
  • Exceptional planning, organising and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure and within short deadlines
  • Demonstrated empathy and respect for team members
  • Demonstrated strong customer focus and results-orientation
  • Willing to complete background/probity check (National Police Check, ASIC – financial services
  • LEAN/6 Sigma certification beneficial
