About the Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will report to the National Sales Manager. Your primary objective is to drive sales and profits in NSW/ACT, exceeding set targets. You’ll focus on acquiring new customers who contribute high value, repeat sales and profits to our business.
Your Duties
- Achieve sales growth by offering our current products/services to existing customers , Joinery/Kitchen Companies, Developers, Builders & Plumbing Merchants.
- Conduct New Business Development initiatives
- Manage a select group of existing customers to ensure continued sales and profit growth
- Provide technical and product solutions that better meets the needs of the customer requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date customer information on the company database within your State
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to optimize “face-to-face” customer interactions
- Continually review and recommend improvements to our sales strategies to maximize sales and profits
Skills and Experience
- 5 years’ experience in New Business Development
- Experience within the building industry is preferred ideally with Joinery/Kitchen Companies, Developers, Builders & Plumbing Merchants.
- Proactive Approach to New Business Development
- Exceptional Deal-Closing Skills
- Solution-Oriented Selling Expertise
