We are currently seeking an experienced Bridge Worker to join a dynamic team based in Waratah. This is a hands-on role working across bridge maintenance and construction projects, with significant time spent camping away from home.

About the Role

You will be involved in the maintenance, repair and construction of bridge structures, working across concrete, timber and steel assets. This role requires strong practical skills, a solid safety mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • General cleaning and sweeping of bridges and culverts
  • General painting of concrete, timber and steel structures
  • Housekeeping of site tool sheds and trailers
  • Formwork and falsework for concrete bridge elements, kerbs, end posts, topping slabs, wing walls and base slabs
  • Chainsaw and adze work on large timber bridge elements, girders, piers and kerbs
  • Steel fixing
  • Operation of battery-powered hand tools

Essential Requirements

  • Current Construction Industry White Card
  • Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence
  • WOF (Worker on Foot)
  • Willingness to obtain additional licences or tickets as required
  • Ability to obtain a Police Check
  • Able to travel and camp away when needed
