Temporary Bookkeeper to join a dynamic team in North Fremantle, covering a maternity leave contract with the potential to extend.

Your new role

As the Bookkeeper, youll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This is a hands-on position requiring experience across the full spectrum of bookkeeping responsibilities.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • End-to-End Payroll Processing – ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable – managing invoices, payments, and collections
  • Purchase Orders – creation and management of PO systems
  • Bank & Debit Card Reconciliations – maintaining accurate financial records
  • Tax Lodgements – including Payroll Tax, PAYG, BAS, and Superannuation
  • Ad Hoc Administration – supporting the wider team with general office duties

What you’ll get in return

  • Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll and tax compliance
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar)
  • High attention to detail and excellent time management
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
