Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD, we have exciting opportunities for kitchenhands across 2 Villages working 14×7 rosters (14 days on, 7 days off).

Motivated and driven Kitchen/Dining Room Team Leader required to lead our successful remote catering team on our mining accommodation villages in Central Queensland.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kitchen/Dining Room Team Leader to join the team at one of our Moranbah sites. The roster is 14×7 working 10 hour shifts. This role is drive-in/drive-out or bus-in, bus-out (ex Mackay) and would be ideal for candidates local to the Moranbah and Mackay regions.

The Position

You will be responsible for leading a team within our catering department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations.

You will be a driven individual that is able to train, lead and motivate your team, working alongside management to achieve desired results.

The Person

• Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team
• Commercial experience (Hotel, Mining, or Resort environment preferable)
• Desirable knowledge of HACCP
• Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the teams overall performance
• Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, implement and evaluate training and procedures
• Must be able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol Test
