Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate BIM processes across multiple designers and contractors, ensuring seamless integration of project data into a Common Data Environment (CDE).
- Ensure compliance with established BIM standards and protocols, including national and project-specific guidelines.
- Conduct reviews of BIM models to validate design accuracy, identify clashes, and maintain alignment with project requirements.
- Develop and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), defining processes, standards, and responsibilities.
- Foster collaboration among project stakeholders using digital tools to enhance communication and information sharing.
- Integrate BIM with other digital engineering systems, such as GIS and asset management tools, to ensure comprehensive project oversight.
- Provide training and mentorship to project teams, enhancing their BIM capabilities.
- Implement quality assurance processes for BIM deliverables, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.
- Deliver progress reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and milestones.
About You
- Over 10 years of experience in BIM and Digital Engineering, with a proven track record on large infrastructure projects.
- Advanced proficiency in BIM software, including Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, and expertise in clash detection and model coordination.
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO ) and data exchange formats (e.g., IFC, COBie).
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a Common Data Environment (CDE) and integrate BIM models into digital twin and asset management systems.
- Expertise in 4D (scheduling) and 5D (cost estimation) BIM applications for project planning and budgeting.
- Leadership skills to mentor teams, foster collaboration, and drive innovation in BIM workflows.
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Dynamo) for process automation and workflow enhancement.
