About our Client:
Our client operates on one of the world’s largest zinc and lead deposits, located approximately 970 kilometres south-east of Darwin.
We are currently seeking experienced Bench Hands to join our Drill & Blast team at an open pit mine site.
About the Role:
- 2:2 Dayshift Roster
- 12-hour shifts
- FIFO from Darwin only (interstate flights not included)
- Ongoing vacancy with the potential to go permanent with the client
- Blast Crew member, duties could include but are not limited too,
– Assisting with blast preparations
– Loading explosives
– Setting up safety and exclusion zones
– Post blast checks
– General housekeeping and compliance
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing team on site
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- IT Loader ticket
- Work at Heights (W@H)
- LF Forklift
- Telescopic Telehandler
- Dangerous Goods (DG) licence, or willingness to obtain
- Must have a current drivers license
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical
- Police check required
- Current Driver’s Licence required
