Assistant Sales Manager

With our Japanese Desk Service in Australia, we work closely with Japanese companies and provide tailored workforce solutions including permanent and contract staffing, recruitment process outsourcing and payroll outsourcing primarily to Japanese companies across Australia.

Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Sales Manager to join the Chemical Department. Reporting directly to the GM and Deputy GM, this role offers the opportunity to play a key part in driving the department’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve department sales targets and identify growth opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Assist in developing and implementing business and market plans.
  • Resolve customer and staff conflicts independently.
  • Set and meet business profit objectives.
  • Analyze market trends to refine sales strategies.
  • Monitor and manage business and operational risks.
  • Provide timely sales reports and market data to upper management.
  • Guide junior team members in compliance with company policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with experience in conflict resolution and coaching.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and forecasting to meet budget goals.
  • Solid understanding of business management and financial principles.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent time and project management abilities.
